I am selling an original mid 20th Century Watercolour of Avila, Spain by the listed British artist Primrose Harley (1908 - 1978) Primrose Harley was married to the important landscape gardener Lanning Harley and they both often collaborated together. Harley was an Illustrator of children's books and a successful painter with works included in several national public collections. Image Size: 30 x 19 cm (approx.) The work is in excellent condition with bright colours. It is signed with the artists monogramme PH lower right along with the title Avila. The work is painted on paper and comes unmounted and unframed and will look amazing once mounted and displayed. I have tried to describe the watercolour as accurate and to the best of my ability, but i am no expert.
