vintage signed Steuben Dragon designed by Lloyd Atkins 1982 Mythical! Fantastical!! Let this early signed Steuben pressed Dragon handcooler/paperweight , inspire magical daydreams!! This vintage Dragon is in outstanding mint condition with no nicks or chips or cracks or scratches. A design sized to fit in the palm and cool sweaty nervous lovers' hands...common in Victorian times. This superb piece comes in its vintage fitted velvet lined box in excellent stain and odor free condition. Designed by LLoyd Atkins, famous for the most beloved of Steuben's animals and handcoolers, this design was one of the earliest of the handcooler series-- originally produced in 1982 and is a retired design and great find in such excellent condition. Perfect for your desk or bookshelf with the usual Steuben heft and clarity, a lovely piece to add to your collection or to gift someone special. A very fair starting bid for a retired handcooler from America's premier artisan glass house, this is Steuben design #5518 and appears on page 366 of the 2003 edition of MJ Madigan's Steuben Reference work.
