Silver 8 Reale ATOCHA Grade 3 Coin w/COA Mel Fisher. Authentic Atocha 8 Reale Silver coin recovered from the Spanish shipwreck, Nuestra Senora de Atocha. By Treasure Salvors Inc.This is a beautiful grade 3, Potosi Mint. Complete with Certificate of authenticity with Mel Fishers name as shown. On Sept. 6, 1622, the heavily laden treasure galleon of King Philip IV's Tierra Firme Fleet struck a reef and sank in a raging storm near the Florida Keys. More than 260 people perished and tons of Gold, Silver and other precious cargo were lost to the sea. All attempts to locate it failed, Until Mel Fisher hit the motherload on July 20th 1985 some 400 years later. 100% Guaranteed to be an Original Atocha shipwreck silver coin.
