This is and old Carte de Visite from about 1888. Subject is Silver City Main St. Looking uphill toward Virginia City near Gold Hill, Nevada.Measures: 5 1/4" x 8 1/4" Image is clear. On the right margin, reading vertically is : South C St Crockwell Virginia Nev. This is tough to see unless you have the photo in your hand.Condition: Three bubbles Rt lower corner, a diagonal scuff Left lower corner up and toward center top. Slighty bowed lengthwise. Scans of back show its condtion well.A very nice card, scan this at 1000dpi and it will enlarge nicely.We have a few other postcards of Gold Hill and Virginia City in this weeks sale too.
