SILVER & ENAMEL BUTTERFLY BROOCH ~ GUSTAV HELLSTROM, NORWAY. Beautiful silver and enamel butterfly brooch by the renowned Norwegian silversmith ~ Gustav Hellstrom. It is marked to the back 925 S just above the makers mark. As for age, I think it dates from around 1910. CONDITION. There are a few scratches and some slight damage to the edge of the enamel at the left wing tip and to the bottom edges. It was quite difficult to photograph but with the zoom facility you should see it okay. Otherwise, condition is very good.
