Hello, Age is Unknown. Maker is unknown. Up for auction is an unusual and very beautiful silver candle holder. T is a seperate Glass bowl with lid that sits in the center of the four swan candle holders. The only legible marking I can read says, G.B. REG. NO. 1033795. T are four swan holders in a square that are approx. 7.25" between each other measuring the outside two. The crystal glass bowl in the center is 5.25" round and 2.75" deep. The silver lid that fits over the glass bowl has holes in the top. I am not real sure the purpose of it, but it is very nice. I do not know its age, but it appears to be quite old. I did some cleaning with silver polish, but it still needs quite a bit more. It is also very heavy at approx. 3+ lbs. I am sorry, but I can't really tell you much about this piece, except that it is absolutely beautiful. I believe it could be sterling silver, but I am not positive. **When I wrapped the tape measure around the outside of the entire piece it was 32 inches. I used a metal tape, so it might be a little off. The holder stands 6 inches tall. I accept Paypal, and will accept US Bank money orders, and US personal checks.
