This auction is for nine pieces of silverplate. The pieces include a beautiful lidded teapot with peacock spout that is silver plate over copper. It stands 8 1/2 inches tall and is 9 inches spout to ornate handle. Not being well versed on silver, I don't know the mark, but it is a triple mark that looks like cathedral windows the first arch bearing a crown, the second bearing a stylized "S", and the third bearing a shield. The lid is attached and t is a strainer at the base of the spout on the inside. the loose tea canister has a removable lid, cobalt blue liner and silver spoon. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. The gallery tray is very detailed and beautiful, but does have a couple of spots on it that did not come off when I cleaned it. The back also has a little tarnish that did not come off, but I did not want to damage the piece, so it is possible that it can be removed. The footed sugar bowl has a removable lid and double handles with a feather plume on top. It stands 5 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches handle to handle. The creamer is open and is marked silver plate over brass. It stands 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The footed tray is not marked, but had a beautiful engraved design and lots of style. It is 14 inches long 6 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. Although these pieces are not "a set" read more
