Offered is a pair of silver plate "Fighting Cocks". They are wonderful! I do not know the origin or age. I can tell that they have some age on them, but they are in wonderful condition. The silver plate is completely intact with no problems. I have seen this set for sale at Scully and Scully in NY for $650.00!!! This is a very sought after set which works fabulously as a center piece on a dining table or on a hunt board. I have noticed them in photos of stately home dining rooms in English Home Magazine. You will not be dissapointed. They are a bit difficult to measure due to their shape, but my best effort shows them at aprox. 9" by 9" each. Bid with confidence. They are wonderful.
