Silver Plated Three Tier Serving Stand Cake/Pie/Desert Server The Bombay Company Collection This is a gorgeous piece and a great serving piece. I believe it is meant for deserts, but I have used it for horsedourves and a cheese and fruit server as well. It is a great multifunctional piece and is especially gorgeous on the holiday table. T is a top crackled glass insert piece that lifts out for easy cleaning. I have a candle in the glass piece but I have also put flowers in the top too. At Christmas I put a couple poinsetta flowers for a dramatic look. The stand is a bit tarnished, but only from my lack of TLC. I am sure it will clean up nicely with a little TLC. It measures 23" inches in height with the glass dome on, 12" across at the widest point of the bottom tray. Lot's of beautiful detailing on the pedestal, including four claw feet on the base. T are three tiers, graduated in size!!! I am also selling three other silver plated pieces. Purchasing all three would make an excellent starter set for anyone wanting a silver collection or to be able to serve an elegant party. I am the original owner. I have a non-smoking home.
