James W. Tufts & Co. Quadruple Plate Casserole and enamel insert. A lovely continuous vine design etched in the lid that matces the radius of the serving piece itself. Silverplate shows some tiny nicks, scratches, as in using an abrasive cleaning pad, some serious water spots on interior metal, underneath enamel insert. T is some wear to this piece, no major dents of any sort..just tiny nicks, pinhead size. This was enjoyed, clearly.IInsert can be removed as shown in the pictures. Dimensions are: 10" circumfrence, 3 inches deep. Thank you. On bottom of piece w it reads James Tufts & Co., t is a zigzag scratch. Also on interior of metal, when lifting out the enamel insert, t are also water spots and scratches.....you don't see these scratches because of their locations. One pinhead size nick on lid, located on one of circles outlining the lid handle.
