Silverplate Weildlich Salt & Pepper Near Perfect Description a Description We ship world wide and combine shipping when ever possible. Up for auction is a fantastic set of salt and pepper in silver plate that we recently purchased from an auction in Savannah. It had sat in a china cabinet for many many years and not used. It is a wonderful set with great detail and t is no plate loss. The bottom of the piece has the Weidlich mark and also the 121 for the number of this set. I have seen other sets like this but not in the condition that this set is in. T is no corrosion to the heads which is very unusual. Salt normally causes the silver to corrode. The set features a ring type holder to hand the set across the table. So unique. The pictures show black spots but actually they are very shiny and the spots are reflections. The total heigth of the set is 3 inches and each little bird stands 1.75 inches tall. The birds both have a cork stopper in the bottom but they sould be replaced. Salt is added to the birds on the underside. Very nice unusual set. Email any questions to and we will answer ASAP.
