This sterling silver thimble was produced by Simons Bros. of Philadelphia, commissioned by the Future Homemakers of America (FHA) in the 1940's. It has F-H-A on a plain band, has a chased rim, and is marked with the Simons shield and sterling silver inside the top. The size is not marked but it would be about an American size 8. As with all specially commissioned thimbles, these were made in limited numbers. It's in excellent condition with no holes and just a teeny bit out of round.Note : Because these photos are greatly enlarged, any scratch or ding shows up more than it does in real life.Please do not I will combine shipping on multiple auctions that end within 3 days of each other if they are all paid for on the same invoice .U.S. SHIPPING is a flat $4.00 for USPS First Class Mail, which includes Delivery Confirmation.
