Simpson Super Badger shaving brush. The best there is, by the classic English brush maker. Chubby model, size 2. This is a medium-large sized brush. The Chubby is one of the densest, firmest shaving brush models out there. You can see how dense it is from the pictures. The Super Badger hair is very soft, though, making for an extremely luxurious experience. The hair is "Three Band," meaning white tips, with a black band below, and then brown/tan below that. This is generally considered as little softer, and sightly less firm than Two Band (but seriously, this is a very firm brush, because of the density of the hair, and Simpson's Super is definitely not floppy under and circumstances). Sells for about $220 new. This brush is lightly used. I probably used it about a month, before deciding with difficulty that a different Simpson Super brush suited my personal tastes better. The decal is starting to peel off, as you can see (it is made to peel off - this isn't a defect). I've never seen any hair loss at all.
