Singa Guardian was hand carved from albesia wood on the Island of Bali, in the town of Ubud. The size is 16" wide ~ 14" long ~ 4.5" deep Wings are removable for easy packing. It is intricately hand painted and gold leafed in the traditional style. Singha or BARONG is the lion which is the symbol of good luck, and is used in the Barong Dance of Bali to fight against evil Rangda the witch, the reincarnation of Durga, to bring harmony and balance to the Island. This mask is great over a window or door and is meant to be a protector or gaurdian to keep evil spirits or bad energy from entering your home.
