A very, very nice Singer 221 Featherweight, hard to come by Centennial edition, in very good condition! Comes with two manuals one well used and one in nice shape, singer grease, foot pedal case several attachments and some extras bobbins and spare bulb. Runs quietly and smoothly. The light works and has a working bulb. The gold leaf is at least 90% perfectly intact with only some wear on the center scrolling and a small spot near the hinge area ( see photos). The bobbin is intact and all the other parts are present and operating correctly to best of my knowledge. Even the underside is shiny and clean, there is a photo with the underplate removed to show working parts area, this was all very clean. I ran a few feet of stitching to do my best to verify this (I have not sewn since 9th grade home ed class and am not an expert). There are no scratches through the paint just natural use to the table surface and I don't see any paint touch ups it is definitely very nice. There is a small area of missing paint by the drive wheel ( see photo) and the belt is cracking and might need to be replaced. The case is nice inside and out, but has some minor wear on the outside corners (see photos) and some loose fabric bonding on the bottom not torn though. The serial number is AJ816442.
