Thanks for looking. This estate sale find is a Singer Featherweight, 221, # AF 752590, 1941, sewing machine. I know little about sewing machines and could not make this one work properly, so I'm selling it "as is" - for parts. The motor did run a little, but would not get the machine up to speed and had a burned smell, and the band around the motor is loose. The paint and decals are both nice, showing just a little loss in the wear areas. No rust, no corrosion, no scratches, no breaks. The light works, the bobbin is present, the motor moved the needle slowly, foot petal is nice. Machine looks like a 8 1/2 or 9, except for the motor. Case is sound but shows some wear and tear. Comes with tray and acc. I'll be glad to answer specific questions. Ask questions before bidding, if I can further clarify anything.
