You are bidding on a Singer Featherweight 221 Centennial Edition Sewing Machine Serial Number AK614736 Born on October 31, 1951 A Halloween Baby!! The shine and gleam on this machine will be the same envious shine and gleam in the eyes of the quilters in your classes when you show up with this beautiful machine! A great estate find, this machine has been lubed and oiled and has been tested by me. This beauty purrs like a kitten and stitches a fine, even stitch ! The photos will tell the story - please review them carefully and you will see the quality of this machine shine through! The decals are perfect and t is no noticible scratches on the machine bed. The only areas I can find with scratches is on the chrome of the hand wheel (see photo) and on the throat plate. The case is in like new condition and doesn't have that terrible musty smell that some have. It does have a small tear in the fabric inside (see photo) that will be easily repaired with some glue. (I'll leave that repair up to the buyer)! Included is the original Singer oil can, original 221 manual, original case keys (still in envelope!) and two screwdrivers. The wiring on the foot control is in perfect condition with no noticiable wiring damage . All in all, this machine will not disappoint !
