The workhorse of capacitors! This is probably the most popular capacitor in Radio. While the standard broadcast bandvariable capacitor is about 365pf-380pf, this one is 400pf. Using 400pf allows a little abovethe broadcast band. Very widely used variable capacitor for use by amateurs, experimenters, and hobbyists. Ideally suited for building crystal radios, receivers, transmitters, or QRP tuners. Sturdy construction with aluminum plates, low loss bakelite insulation and ball bearing drive. These are new manufacture, not surplus. Found in many ham and hobbyist articles.
