This 6 piece Sonor S Classix in White Oyster was bought on a whim for over £2,600, but real life has dealt a hand which means it very reluctantly has to be sold. The Sonor S Classix Scandinavian Birchwood Series is designed for advanced and professional drummers alike, and for admirers of the classic Sonor look of the 1960's and 70's. The Sonor S-Classix series features thin, full birch shells made of Scandinavian birchwood. These drums provide maximum strength and perfect, neutral tuning thanks to tension-free cross lamination of the individual layers of wood (CLTF Cross Lamination Free Process). With thin birch shells, this series offers a convincingly pitchy and compulsive sound with powerful treble, mid-range pitches, and well-balanced deep tones. This superior build and quality production has now been discontinued, so you are getting a very rare and beautiful item. It has hardly been used and never gigged, and everything is in an "As New" condition. The shells are, and have always been, protected in padded gig bags. There are no scratches on the solid chrome hardware.
