All six bits have notches on one side of the shank indicating they were made to work with early pushbutton braces, and they will also work with the later braces with two-jaw chucks. The top bit is a relatively rare Brown & Flather center bit that drills a hole slightly less than 3/4" in diamater. The next two are a type of twist bits, one marked "6" and the other "8" (3/16" and 1/4" respectively). Both are marked with the letters ASK (the initials of a former owner?). The next two are gimlet bits, a no. 6 and a no. 7 (3/16" and 7/32" diameters). The no. 7 has the remnant of a diamond-shaped mark, probably the Snell trademark of an S inside a diamond. The no. 6 has no manufacturer's mark. The last bit is a no. 5 (5/16") Russell Jennings pattern auger bit.We will combine payment and shipping on items purchased within 30 days of each other, so check out our other items .
