USMC Marine Corps Evening Dress uniform tunic for an officer. I do NOT accept returns because the uniform does not fit. See my other auctions for additional USMC and USN items. USMC Officer's uniform. The auction is for the tunic only. The USMC Birthday Ball is coming up and a new tunic with sleeve devices would cost approximately $500. On one of the sleeves the 3 buttons are no longer attached. This is an easy fix to have a tailor sew on the 3 buttons. Although the tunic was not manufactured and sold in Asia, the lining does appear to be salmon color. I have seen similar linings on USMC tunics custom tailored in Japan. There is some soiling on the salmon lining, which I believe is silk? The metal piping around the neck has a small snag-see photos. The sleeve devices are for a Warrant officer or for a Company grade commissioned officer.The tunic is a size 39-40 based on my measurements. The tunic has all matching brass buttons. The set of collar EGAs are brand new and are included. A new set at The Marine Shop would cost $75. I have added the last photo of a colonel's evening dress uniform to demonstrate what the uniform looks like with EGAs and mini-medals added. Please wait until I send an invoice as the Ebay postage calculator is often incorrect.
