Offered here is a vintage Skookum Indian doll with molded head, dark eyes look right and wig is black mohair with sewn center part. The body feels to be stuffed with excelsior and the shoes are plastic and marked "Bully Good Indian". The doll is dressed in wool trade blanket, beige felt trousers and floral shirt. This type doll was frequently sold in roadside stands or convenience stores in the American southwest during the 1950's as Americans traveled the new interstate highways. The doll is in good, pre-owned condition.
