Vaseline Slag glass/rock/mineral chunk Uranium glass, hippie glass chunk Actual Vaseline glass which is a pre1920s chunk. This piece contains uranium dioxide (non toxic) which makes it glow, antimony & calcium silicate crystals. This piece is also considered obsidian. It wasnt discovered till the 1990s, that slag glass is actually a mineral called obsidian. . This piece weighs over 8.2oz 4"x 3"x 1.5" it is solid and heavy. It is Fenton cullet glass high grade. It will also be good for display piece, lapidary, cabbing and making vintage jewelry or what ever else you think of. Note slag/glass/mineral/rock has imperfections, may have cracks or bubbles but thats what makes it a piece of art. This piece is Fenton cullet glass but was discarded. It is actually a yellow vaseline color & has uranium dioxide to glow green.
