The seller isoffering a very rare original Kodachrome slide of the Liberian-flag general cargo ship BAYVILLE as shown while in Singapore waters in March 1981. Built in 1962 as the Dutch-owned NV Reedereij "Amsterdam" freighter AMSTELSTAD, she was sold in 1977 to Blackbird Shipping Co Inc who renamed her BAYVILLE as depicted on the present slide. She was sold out of the Fleet in 1983. This remarkablesharp sunny view was taken from a boat with a 35mm SLR camera using a high quality 50mm standard lens. I can attest that this slide is devoid of marks, scratches and blemishes as well as to its high quality, much better than this low resolution scan.
