Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1973 Slingerland double-bass drum outfit. This auction includes six Slingerland drums and a single vintage Slingerland "Setomatic" twin tom-tom stand.Sizes are: 14" deep x 24" wide bass drum (serial # 131193), 14" deep x 24" wide bass drum (serial # 131608), 18" deep x 20" wide floor tom-tom (serial # 145999),16" deep 18" wide floor tom-tom (serial # 132824), 10" deep x 15" wide tom-tom (serial # 172893), and a 9" deep x 13" wide tom-tom (serial # 175932).Each drum is constructed out of three plies of wood ( maple/poplar/mahogany) with solid-maple interior glue rings. The interiors are beautifully factory finished in clear maple.All six drums are factory wrapped in chrome-plated steel. To be clear, each drum has a sheet of steel tightly wrapped around it. The chrome-plated finish is in amazing shape and the drums look amazing but you will find some wear and just a few tiny rust spots, mainly on the bass drums. The 20" floor tom has some small dents in the chrome-plated finish down at the bottom of the shell on the panel directly below the Slingerland badge.Each drum is outfitted with all of it's original Slingerland metal fittings.
