The item your bidding on is a Slingerland Bass Drum ; date stamped "OCT. 64" mahogany shell measures 24"x12" I'm not an expert but I believe this the Radio King model from all my research.Now the condition the outer covering is silver sparkle which is split and needs replacing, luckly there is restoration shops that sell coverings also a few small splits on inner ply see photos ; all 20 lugs are there, but only 8 claws and 8 tension bolt but 4 are bent but fixable and one original hoop (wooden) one is missing and no drum heads and no spurs, I believe these drums had a "clamp on" spur-leg attachment which I don't have. This drum also has the black/gold niles badge see photos. This drum is being sold as is for restoration or for parts, and there isn't many 1964 radio kings left!!!! legenary sound
