Up for sale is a PAIR of vintage Slingerland Niles, Illinois black badges. Serial Numbers: 504955 & 504966. We believe them to be the "football" shape used from 1973-1986 (thank you !). These are from a poorly refinished 13" & 16" tom respectively. Kids, do not paint your toms with a brush and housepaint. Be sure to remove the badges BEFORE you refinish. Just bending them out of the way is not the right approach. The drums these badges came on were purchased at the Chicago Vintage Drum Show. We are keeping the shells and lugs, and are also selling the sticksaver hoops that accompanied these drums. Please view our other auctions for the hoops and additional items.
