Up for AUCTION is a GREAT CLEAN UP SLUICE (rev E) for processing your concentrates and all that RICH BLACK SAND that you have lying around all those years. Get your significant other (wife, girlfriend, and kids) interested in processing the concentrates to recover the GOLD. I got tired of panning out a 5-gallons bucket of my 5" dredge concentrates, so a few years ago I started experimenting and building these Clean Up Sluices. "A HECK OF A SLUICE" is a light-weight, (2) TWO STAGE prospecting tool, which can be used to separate Black Sand and fine GOLD from your concentrates after you'd Panned, Dredged, High Banked, and Dry Washed. It can be mounted to the output side (in place of the small cup)of the GOLD Wheel and/or attached to a five-gallon bucket or tub. Water flows , using a 12 vdc water pump (for Water recovery/recirculation and filter) or garden hose hook up to city water, through a water hose hook-up flow valve with a 90-degree elbow, which makes attachment to the water hose more flexible at any position. A "T"- MANIFOLD , located at the top end of the sluice, ensures an even distribution of water. The WATER FLOW VALVE can be used to adjusts the amount of Water you wish to flow thru the Sluice. The FIRST STAGE occurs when small amounts of concentrate is added to the mixing area, which is located above the ribbed rubber matting, the mixture of concentrate and water then flows over the ribbed rubber mat catching the GOLD . Small nuggets, pickers and lickers can now be collected from the ribbed rubber mat using a Snuffer Bottle. The SECOND STAGE or remaining concentrate continues to journey to the ribbed carpet area, which is topped with a diamond shaped expanded metal overlay, to catch the fine GOLD . Each Diamond shaped acts like a MinI Ripple. Remove the diamond shaped metal overlay, throughly wash the carpet and empty the filtered concentrate into your gold pan to recover the fine GOLD . "A HECK OF A SLUICE" is quality constructed with all new parts, which include the hook up valve and the sluice assembly (pump, hose and battery not included). Hope you have a Heck of a good time and find a Heck of a lot of gold. The sluice is 2 x 4 x 24 and weights about 1 1/2 lbs. WATER FLOW VALVE/90 DEG ELBOW furnished with the Sluice. I moved the "T" Water Manifold closer to the end cap thus giving extra mixing area. Revision C to my sluice design. I am now tapering the up stream end of the carpet and cutting the end at a 45 deg.
