Up for bid is the actual saddle cloth worn by SLY STORM in her off-the-board finish in the 2008 Grade 3 Victory Ride annually run at Saratoga. Those collectors whose collections feature cloths from America's Graded races and legendary tracks should take note of this auction. Carded exclusively for three-year-old sprint fillies, the Victory Ride is one of Saratoga's newest additions to NYRA's graded Stakes menu with a short history dating back to 2004. Accordingly, saddle cloths from this race are relatively rare. The daughter of Storm Cat, SLY STORM was incredibly consistent during her brief career. She finished first or second in 8 of her 12 lifetime races. She won Keeneland's Buffalo Trace and Monmouth's Mongo Queen, and also owned placings in three additional stakes races before retiring. The saddle cloth is in perfect race worn condition. Winning bidder pays $9.50 for priority sh/hand/ins/tracking. Outside US, winner pays $32.95 for priority sh/hand/ins. Paypal accepted.
