Small 19thC Antique Victorian 8-Tune Inlaid Music Box Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album ...... Measuring only 3 1/8" by 5" by 2" tall this small antique mid-19th century Music Box plays eight tunes. The top of the box has Rosewood Veneer with a band of figured Mahogany and a Mother of Pearl Shield inlaid right in the center. The sides are a Walnut Burl and this box still retains its original aged finish. T is a small spot to this finish on the right side of the top, but that's it! T are no other damages or repairs to this case or to the veneers. It's amazing that this small Music Box plays eight tunes. The card in the cover has a list, which is hand written. T are a total of 61 notes on the 2 3/16" long comb and every one is perfect. The drum measures 3 3/8" long by approximately 3⁄4" in diameter. I do not have the original key for this box, but I was able to alter an old toy key and found that the spring is still perfect. At first I could not get this box to play. I turned the governor a few times and it started to play. About half way through the song it stopped and I had to get it going again. It did at one time play almost through three songs before stopping. I guarantee 100% plus shipping that this circa 1870s Music Box only needs a cleaning and it will run perfectly. I have the original
