ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE HEAD DOLL BRIDE FASHIONGERMANY This is a lovely small antique doll. She has a German bisque head and a composition five piece body. She is dressed in a fancy bride's dress with train, hat with veil and is holding a flower bouquet. She has blue fixed eyes and square shaped teeth. She is not marked. I think she dates to the 1890's. She measures about 6" tall. Her dress is stiffened so that I can get her to stand on her own with the dress holding her up. She may have been a wedding cake topper. T is brown staining and tearing, especially around the bottom front edge, possibly from the sugar icing of a cake. Her dress has various areas w the silk is shredding but it is stable. Someone spent a lot of time making it with much attention to details for such a small doll. I will ship the old doll Parcel Post or Priority at actual price. Wait for my invoice for an exact shipping charge, no package or handling fees. Attention! If you would like to add insurance, please let me know and I will add the cost to the invoice. The shipping calculator does not include insurance as shown. I will ship whichever way is cheapest and quickest for you at your request. I double box all fragile items for safe shipping. I forgot to add that the elastic stringing to the head is loose and the head does flop around. It will need new stringing
