You get all 6 bases. They are dark walnut handmade by our son and his family. The bases are 3/4” x 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” in size. We use Johnson Paste Wax for the finish. Because the bases are each handmade, sizes may vary slightly. Each comes with a screw and a rare earth magnet. The common walnut and the black walnut and its allies, are important for their attractive timber, which is hard, dense, tight- grained and polishes to a very smooth finish. It is a dark chocolate color . When kiln-dried, walnut wood tends toward a dull brown color, but when air-dried can become a rich purplish-brown. Because of its color, hardness and grain it is a prized furniture and carving wood.
