Painted Small, Quality Vintage Oak Kitchen Dresser approx 1930s Fabulous, professionally hand painted distressed paint effect Made of Solid oak;- this old carved oak dresser has been sanded, primed and then professionally hand painted painted in two coats of ‘Farrow and Ball’ matt paint (in a lovely creamy grey – green colour, chosen for its ability to go with reds, blues, greens, creams or white) The paint work was then distressed tastefully at edges to give an aged rustic (Shabby Chic) look again that is currently so fashionable, and then waxed to protect it. The oak work surface has then been stripped, lightly sanded and waxed to bring out the grain ( the dots are dust on the photo not on the wood which is in excellent condition). Solid wood back and dovetailed joints (no ply wood here) One full width drawer – dovetailed joints and solid base. Two cupboard doors under, with one shelf and base. Top plate rack, comes off and so can be used as two separate pieces. Height: 88cm bottom plus 89cms top piece (177cms in total) Width: 92cms Depth (at deepest from front to back): 48cms Floor to work surface height: 88 cms Please feel welcome to view before bidding at my antique shop, you won’t be disappointed and I will be sorry to see it go;- ‘Pretty Old Things’, Slaters Village, Stone Road, Baldwins Gate, Newcastle under read more
