SMITH COLLEGE HALL ~ WEDGWOOD ASHTRAY ~ 1937 A small ashtray by Wedgwood Pottery measuring 4 3/8" in diameter. Marks in blue on the back, "COLLEGE HALL SMITH COLLEGE 1937", "Y", "WEDGWOOD ETRURIA ENGLAND" , " SOLE IMPORTERS McDUFFEE STRATTON CO". Impressed marks, "WEDGWOOD", "MADE IN ENGLAND", ("4T37" ?). The college is in Northampton, Massachusetts and was founded in 1871.
