This auction is for a lovely gate marked (pre - 1890s) 3-legged kettle / cauldron / bean pot / gypsy pot. It sits sturdy and flat with no wobble. The bottom is stamped "7 G". The legs are in good condition. It is free of chips, cracks, warping. It is ready to use or display. While the exterior and interior are both in beautiful condition for its age, the bottom interior has some pitting that is standard for an item of this age.I have stripped it of rust and carbon build up through electrolysis and a lye bath back down to its original form. I have given it two coats of seasoning to date.Please ask any questions you may have.
