For auction we offer an SMS block MEERSCHAUM estate pipe (w/case), that has never been smoked. This is a long pipe with a tall, thick-walled bowl Please see the Measurements section below. We acquired this pipe 3 years ago from an estate sale. The owner's widow let us know that the pipe was already over 30 years old. The pipe was distributed by the well respected SMS pipe company, who are world famous for their superb quality meerschaum pipes. Their famous logo sticker is still present on the inside of the case, & the SMS logo is imprinted on the mouthpiece. Both the pipe & case (hinge & latch work perfectly) are in excellent condition for their age. The pipe stem fits snugly and is not loose at all. The lucky winner of this 30 to 40 year old pipe will be very pleased to smoke from it & watch it color nicely over time, or add it to their pipe collection! It would also make a wonderful birthday, Christmas, or Father's Day gift for that special guy who appreciates very fine pipes, meerschaums in particular.
