For sale is a nice old snare with a wicked-cool wrap! I am pretty sure that the brand of this snare is Revere/Kent even though the badge is missing. I believe this to be so since: 1) Both the top and bottom heads are Kent brand; 2nd) It looks like other Kent/Revere snares I have seen; and finally 3) I purchased this with several other drums that were of that same brand but not with that wrap. Anyway, the snare measures about 14" across (inside the rim) by about 5 5/8" deep (but this includes the rim). The strainer/throw functions nicely and the snare has a nice old sound and is loud. The top and bottom skins might be original but the bottom skin has a crack in it. The top skin is dirty but I have not cleaned it at all so it will clean up some. The metal hardware does have some oxidation but again if you give it a good cleaning it will clean up some. But by far the best part of this snare is the wrap. Not even sure how to describe it so I will let the pictures do the talking, but again it is beyond COOL!!!! The wrap is also in GREAT SHAPE!!!!! That last picture is of the inside of the drum taken through the badge-hole. Looks like a nice wooden shell! Not sure what else to say. Buyer pays shipping fee based on zip-code. Paypal accepted.
