The Soft Ride Ski/Snowboard Rack for Dura and Elite Racks easily converts SoftRide bike racks into a ski & snowboard rack. You are just replacing the bike rack arms with the ski/snowboard arms. The ski rack will accommodate 5 sets of skis or 4 snowboards. You have a better line of sight out of the vehicle because the skis/snowboards are carried at a 45 degree angle. Better clearance in and out of garages and parking garages. You are able to access the rear of your vehicle by tilting the rack away from the car with skis/snowboards still attached and it is equipped with a lock to secure your skis/snowboards.
