This is a rare antique pewter ice cream mold made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. This is a lovely collectable soldier mold stamped with a number that is unclear, possibly Schall & Co. These molds were popular as a way of serving ice cream. Pewter ice cream molds are extremely popular among those who collect food or ice cream memorabilia, and this one would make a great part of a patriotic collection as well. This mold is considered an individual serving size. It is a two piece mold that is hinged at the side and stand approximately 5 5/8 inches tall.
