Antique, solid brass, two-slipper shade ceiling fixture. The chandelier part is 12" wide by 5" high . Add another 10" in length with all the fitted copper (I don't think these parts are brass, they are too thin to work in domes and such) cord covers, the dangling decoration, and the brass hook.(see photos) This came out of the old house my second cousin remodeled and lived in. It has been stored in the garage for two decades. It's heavy; about 8 lbs in brass. I'm still recovering from a knock on the skull with it. The item is in Very Good to Fine* used condition depending on how you feel about the following:The item has negatives: - used. - not signed. (there might be a maker's mark...see photo 7, 12 o'clock position in the photo on the ceiling ring) - unknown vintage. - this item does not float. - original wiring with new wiring spliced in. These are probably the original light sockets. - there are NO slipper shades. This is for the fixture only. - the covers for the bolting mechanism are copper. The solid brass fixture has positives: - patina. - works good. - a nice bit of functional history. - complete chandelier minus the slipper shades. - electric worked upon removal. - low opening bid. - no reserve.
