A very nice pair of solid pine doors probably from a built in cupboard, possibly Victorian or early Edwardian. Dimensions are each door 15 7/8” Wide 46 ¼” High and 1 1/2" thick. The doors are 31 3/8” overall width Has plenty of layers of paint on but will scrape off really easy. Appear to be in very good condition for their age, no rot or wood worm and all the mortice and tenon joints are tight. Glass is all ok, lovely recessed brass escutcheon for keyhole (no key). All four original hinges present. The lock is not one I`ve come across before, it is a roller catch that works fine and I`m guessing if you had the key it would lock the catch in place thereby locking the door. Due to the size and weight it is collection only or local delivery for a small fee. Can be collected most weekdays in the evening or weekends at arranged times. As we work full time we cannot wait in for couriers.
