Dimensions: Height: 17cm/6.75 inches.

Marks: Maker's mark of WB&S; leopard's head for London assay office; lion passant; date letter 'U' for 1915; retailer's mark to base: Bruford & Son, Exeter and Eastbourne.

This is a most elegant silver sugar castor of antique Georgian design, dating from 1915. The detachable cap has a pierced design of fleur-du-luys motifs, alternating with diamonds/dots, the cap having a matching hallmark to the body of the castor. The body is plain sided with a circular foot.

Weight: 95 Grammes.
