This is a classic design! This SOLID TIGER/FLAME MAPLE LIFT TOP DESK is a beaut! first off, it's solid! No veneers at all! all of the wood is real flame maple, or tiger maple as it's also known as. Under the top, is a small drawer, with a lot of cubby holes to hold those notes and letters. And now for the cool part. Look at the legs. It's PINNED! How's that for old world craftmanship? As for the age, well your guess is as good as mine. Could be 1880's, or handcrafted in a master carpenters workshop as a modern reproduction. This have been refinished, and is just sweet!
