SOLIDO MADE IN FRANCE UNIC SAHARA 6x6 ROCKET LAUNCHER ARMY TRUCK RELEASE DATE 1960's GOOD/VERY GOOD CONDITION This lot contains a Good/Very Good Condition, 1960's Release Date, Solido, Made in France, Unic Sahara 6x6 Rocket Launcher Army Truck. This 7 inch long Olive Drab Unic Sahara is quite the uncommon item! Truck has heavyweight cast body, clear plastic windows, military decals on each side door, silver painted headlights, cast hubs, ribbed black plastic tyres, spring loaded launching arm, and unpainted control wheel and brace on launching arm. Overall condition of the ORIGINAL paintwork is very good with minimal pin pricks of paint loss. I believe that there is a "stop" missing on the launching arm, and there is some paint loss where the firing mechanism reaches the end of its travel. There is also some typical Solido reaction where some of the tyre comes into the hub. I believe that this is from the adhesive that Solido used to glue the tyre to the hub. This is a quite common occurence on Solido toys from the 60's-80's! Please look at all 8 photos carefully to fully appreciate this wonderful vintage Solido model !
