VINTAGEMID CENTURY MODERNISTMILLEFIORISOMMERSO GLASSPAPERWEIGHT VASEI SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is a wild mid century art glass vase that I believe was made in Italy in the 1950s or 60s. In some respect it is reminiscent of the Blenko Glass "ear vases" made in the late 40's, however, this has so much more going on and, in its own way, is a work of art. Its a very heavy, thick piece that measures 7 1/2" tall x 7" across wing tip to wing tip. The bowl of the vase is 4" in diameter at the top. The condition is excellent. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. I will point out that t is a small internal bubble on one side that refracts light but this is "in the making" not damage (see 9th) image. Please feel free to email with any questions.
