1626-1 TITLE SONG WITHOUT END – DIRK BOGARDE / FRANZ LISZT – 1959 SHEET MUSICALBUM OF THEMES - DATE : 1959 DESCRIPTION : VERY GOOD CONDITION CONDITION : This is a quality scan of the cover of the actual sheet music for sale. Please refer to this scan to satisfy yourself as regards the front cover. This sheet music album consists of 36 pages. It has been kept in a thick plastic folder for many years and will be delivered within it. The only blemish is a small ½” tear at the pianist’s shoulder. The album consists of 8 themes and 8 photographs [b&w] from the movie plus includes thematics of additional musical material and [comprehensive] synopsis of the story continuing on each page as the music is trailed. Song Without End , subtitled The Story of Franz Liszt ( 1960 ) is a biographical film romance made by Columbia Pictures . It was directed by Charles Vidor , who died during the shooting of the picture and was replaced by George Cukor . It was produced by William Goetz from a screenplay by Oscar Millard , revised (uncredited) by Walter Bernstein [1] . The music score was by Morris Stoloff and Harry Sukman with music by Franz Liszt, and the cinematography by James Wong Howe and Charles Lang (uncredited). [1] The film starred Dirk Bogarde as Liszt, Capucine as Princess Carolyne zu Sayn-Wittgenstein , and Geneviève Page as Marie
