The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin is a limited first editon signed by the author and published by the Franklin Library exclusively for members of The Signed First Edition Society. The Songlines was written by Bruce Chatwin, an English novelist and travel writer. It combines fiction and non-fiction, describing a trip to Australia taken to research Aboriginal song and its connections to nomadic travel. It is a used book in very good condition and was part of a personal library that includes embossed stamping. The binding is a black leather with a gold and red Aboriginal design gilt-stamped on the front cover and the pages are gilded with gold. Approximately 9" tall, 6.25" wide and 1.5" thick.
