Hi everyone!This clever fox who rules his local hunt club's territory is famous for cultivating animal allies, both wild and domestic, to help maintain his supremacy. Seeing his favorite hunting horse relaxing in a flowery field, the fox has called upon his buddies to pay him a friendly visit. They're likely to have more of these meetings to prepare their tricks and antics for the Fall hunting and chasing season!This is my own original design, never done before and not to be repeated. I have completely sculpted everything in it from ceramic clay.To create this, I first rolled out some clay to form the grassy base with flowers, then sculpted the horse, fox, foxhound, Jack Russell Terrier, bunny, mouse and Bluebird. Once all the parts were dried and painted, they were attached together with liquid clay. Two high temp firings in my studio kiln bonded everything together in a permanent glazed finish. I've signed and dated this underneath, Barbie Sonnett 2022.Measurements: 5 3/4" at the widest, 3 3/4" at the deepest, and 3 1/2" at the highest (from the bottom to the tips of the fox's ears.I have been selling my original whimsical ceramic animal sculpture as a full time profession since 1982, and for the past 22 years exclusively on eBay.For further examples of my work, please visit my Facebook Page: Barbie Sonnett Sculpture.Thanks for read more
