Hi everyone!The Fox Master has long been building his little group of trusted allies from the Hunt Club Pack who are sworn to secrecy of course.This is the hound that keeps track of the Master's things and here he is, off to deliver them He is wearing an extra top hat in case one gets lost, has the hunting horn in one paw and the hunt whip in the other. Looks like he's trying to crack the whip but it is just getting tangled up with the terriers. One JRT carries a Tally Ho sign to help throw the pack off!This ornament will be the only of its kind that I'll make by hand from ceramic clay. It is one-sided, plain on the back where I've signed it.I rolled out my clay and then sketched my design on it freehand. I then cut around the outside edges. Details were added by by carving out, adding on in clay. Once dried and painted, the ornament went through two high temp kiln firings that left it with a permanent glazed finish. A third firing added 22kt. gold to the Hound's and the terriers' collars, the hunt horn and the star on the tree.I've signed and dated this on the back, Barbie Sonnett 2022.Measurements: 3 3/4" at the widest, 4" at the highest.
