T he regimental flag of the 10th Tennessee of the Army of Tennessee CSA (formed in1861). This regiment was also known as the "Bloody 10th" for the heavy losses it sustained in the fighting at Ft. Donaldson, TN in Feb 1862. The men of the 10th Tennessee were also involved in such battles as Raymond, Mississippi, Chickamauga, Georgia, Missionary Ridge, Tennessee, Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca, Atlanta, Georgia. Although fewer Irish lived in the South, many still fought in the Civil War.This flag features an Irish harp with shamrocks surrounded by the phrase "Sons of Erin - Go Where Glory Waits You!" sewn into the flag. This 3' x 5' 100% cotton flag can be used for display, educational, reenactments and/or living history events.
